A VERY SUCCESSFUL QUILT CAMP

We had another quilt camp this past Saturday and it was a great success.  Janet finished her jelly roll quilt, Regina finished yet another Quilter's Diary block, Debbie finished her Snowman basket and I finished a new shop sample made with a variety of batik triangles.

OPEN SEWING SATURDAY

The ladies who came in on Saturday to sew had a very productive day.  There are now three less UFO's out there.  Jen came in with her hot off the sewing machine skull quilt, Kelly Ann finished her Potato Chip and Pat finished her version of a Jelly Roll quilt.

Tattoo Parlor or Quilt Shop????

Debbie can now add Tattoo Artist to her resume.  She just finished a MOM tattoo on her first customer at the shop.

Another Strip Challenge Quilt Completed

My, Oh, My!!!!!!  Jen brought in her completed Scrap Challenge Quilt today and it is absolutely gorgeous.  She did it in black and white strips and then did her corners in red and black.  As you will see from the picture below - it is striking.

ANOTHER FINISHED PROJECT

A couple of weeks ago Diane Fama gave a workshop on the 3 Dudes quilt.  We had a full house that day and the colors were amazing.  Everyone had a really great time oohing and aahing about everyone's colors.  Well, today Pat finished her quilt.  What a fabulous job!

Great New Fabric

Look what just came in - Sunflower Serenade.  There are 6 beautiful designs.  Sharon is starting to work on a sample - can't wait to see how it's going to turn out.

BARGELLO LANDSCAPE

This is a really exciting evening.  Not only did Liz bring in the first Scrap Challenge quilt, but Marge brought in her sample for the Bargello Landscape workshop.  As always, Marge did an outrageous job.  There is still a couple of seats available in her workshop, so sign up soon.  You won't be sorry.

Great New Quilt

Janice just dropped off a great new quilt this weekend for a class in March.  We haven't had the opportunity to set the date yet, but it's a good one.  We also had 2 great classes this weekend.  One was Bright Eyes, which was a full class and I can't wait to see the quilts when the girls finish.  The other was 3 Dudes.  Another full class, which worked out great.  Our sample was in Halloween fabric, but you should have seen some of the Bali Pops used for these quilts.  Barbara came in today with her red one today all ready for a border - it was spectacular.  Hopefully she'll put a picture of it on our blog - hint, hint, hint.

NEW TUMBLER CORNER

We are going tumbler crazy.  We just created an area in the shop where we are selling individual packages of 12 - 6" tumblers ($4.50 per pack) and 12 - 3" tumblers ($2.25 per pack).  You can mix and match the colors you would like to make your own quilt.  A free pattern is available when you purchase 99 large tumblers and 144 small tumblers.

Hello Everyone.  I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.  I'm really starting to get into the Christmas spirit with these really cute strip Santa table runners.  They came out so cute and are sooooooooo easy to make.  Check it out.
