Hello Everyone.  I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.  I'm really starting to get into the Christmas spirit with these really cute strip Santa table runners.  They came out so cute and are sooooooooo easy to make.  Check it out.

Jelly Roll Quilt

Jelly Roll Race Video (with music)

We had a great time during the Jelly Roll races this last weekend.  Jen Coombe was the winner, with the quickest time of 39 minutes.  Can you believe it!  We will be having another one in the Spring, probably late March, but it is going to be for charity.  We will be Strippin' for the Soldiers that day.  The date hasn't been set yet because we'll have to collect some red, white and blue fabrics.  If you would like to contribute, we would really appreciate it if you could cut them into 2-1/2" strips.  Thanks everyone and enjoy your weekend.

A new blog for friends of the Cozy Quilt Shoppe

Holiday Inn, The Christmas Shoes, Witness and The Birdcage.  A disparate list of movies made in different era's with nothing in common ?  Not really. All of these movies were dressed up somewhere with a beautiful quilt to add ambiance. North Jersey may not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking about quilting. There's no shoeless boys running by past the barn by a bargello quilt hanging over the back porch, but we quilters are here nonetheless. Hopefully, in the posts to come you'll get some ideas and share your thoughts and perhaps be proud that the New Jersey quilters can hold their own against anyone in the windswept fields of Kansas.
